Archaeologist and artist, Joel Green has created 10 custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, hand-turned, wood, stone, and leather “V-O” series pens, available only until March 30.

Spokane Valley, WA, March 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Case42 Creative Media today announced that Artist Joel Green has created 10 custom-designed, one-of-a-kind, hand-turned, wood, stone, and leather “V-O” series pens, available only until March 30, at which point the series will be discontinued. Currently, 5 of these limited-edition pens are only available online at joelgreenstudios.com/vo.

Green, a former archaeologist and artifact illustrator, has been producing hand-turned pens for 2 years, and also creates “skeletonized” ceramic pottery. With a BA in Art History and Archaeology from Eastern Washington University, and having spent time immersed in ancient cultures throughout Egypt, Turkey, Greece and Jordan, he says, “All my exposure to these cultures and their art has been infused into who I am and made my own work an amalgamation of the art of these historic peoples.”

While concentrating on developing a market for the artistic writing tools he creates, Green is also working on a few local showings throughout the Pacific Northwest. His work has won “People’s Choice Award” at The Patriot Woodworker, and has been featured by Woodcraft.
