Founded by the Amundsen family in 1964, FEMCO has become a diversified custom manufacturer of quality OEM and aftermarket parts and a provider of emergency repair services.
In 1994, FEMCO was acquired by Manitowoc Cranes. In 2003, FEMCO was sold to a group of investors and has since become employee owned and operated.
In 2008, FEMCO expanded by buying Spencer-Harris, an oil and gas repair facility in Gladewater, Texas.
In 2012, the company purchased Precision Machine and Welding in Olivehurst, California as well as starting a brand new facility in Bismarck, North Dakota to service drillers in the Bakken formation.
