Premio Foods Enters March Madness with Recipe Contest

Rochelle Park, NJ, March 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- March Madness, one of the craziest and most fun times, has just gotten crazier. Premio Foods, a New Jersey sausage manufacturer, has launched a unique recipe contest based on the March Madness phenomenon, known as Premio Madness 2013 Recipe Contest. The much anticipated contest promises to be as engaging, fun and wild as the NCAA Basketball March Madness tournament.

Contests have multiple ways to win cool, cash prizes. The recipe submission part of the contest has already begun. The first 16 submitted, accepted recipes, according to the necessary requirements, will be entered into the madness, where they will have a chance at winning the grand prize of $1000 cash, a Wilson WAVE Basketball and a Premio prize package. All other qualified recipe submissions will get a free Premio product coupon. The deadline for recipe submissions is Sunday, March 10 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Those who don’t have recipes to share can still participate in the madness and win some awesome, cash prizes. Just like the March Madness Brackets, contestants will be able fill out and predict how they believe the Premio bracket will unfold. They will choose which recipes will advance, and eventually, which one they think will be crowned the Premio Madness 2013 Recipe Champion! The person with the most points in the bracket will take home the grand prize of $500 Cash, a Wilson WAVE Basketball and a Premio prize package. The runner up, with the second most points, will receive $250 Cash, a Wilson WAVE Basketball and a Premio prize package.

That’s not it; there’s another way to win. Those who sign up to vote for their favorite recipes during the bracket challenge will be placed into a pool, where a random winner will be chosen. The random winner will receive $50 Cash! Because there are four voting rounds, there will be four random voting winners.
