Digital Marketing Agency, Ingenex, Hires New Eco-Friendly Interns

Leading social media agency Ingenex Digital marketing has hired four new interns for spring 2013 to join their team of digital marketing professionals at their headquarters in Ann Arbor, Mich.

Ann Arbor, MI, March 09, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Ingenex Digital Marketing, with offices located in Ann Arbor and Chicago, welcomes five new interns to the Eco-Friendly Internship this spring at the Ann Arbor headquarters. The internship offers current students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience within the field of digital marketing.

The digital marketing agency’s new interns are Laura Ene, Krysia Hepatica, Olena Nadtochiy, and Emily Walsh. These young women make up the intern team for the spring and will work together to implement social media strategies while completing individual assignments that cater to their specific interests.

Krysia Hepatica is currently enrolled in the Master's Program in Public Relations & Advertising at Michigan State University after earning a bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Michigan University. Olena Nadtochiy, a graduate of Oxford Brookes University Business School in the U.K. with a Master of Science in Marketing, is certified in Digital Marketing by the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing.

“Every country is different; so is marketing within those countries,” Nadtochiy said. “For me, the Eco-Friendly Internship is an opportunity to learn the rules and insights that differentiate marketing in the U.S. from the U.K.”

Laura Ene and Emily Walsh are seniors at Michigan State University. Ene is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Media & Communication Technology with a specialization in Information Technology and Walsh is finishing up her coursework in Marketing. After both completing the New Media Driver’s License course taught at MSU by Derek Mehraban of Ingenex Digital Marketing, the two students learned how to develop a digital strategy and are in pursuit of future opportunities in the field of digital marketing upon graduation this May.

The Eco-Friendly interns focus on social media marketing, search engine optimization, digital marketing strategy, and online public relations. Throughout the duration of the internship, they will gain real life experience and learn what it’s like to work at a digital marketing agency. Many interns are college grads, looking to get experience in hot areas such as social media marketing or search engine optimization. Ingenex trains 15 - 20 interns per year as part of the Eco-Friendly Internship, and sends them out into the workforce. Ingenex interns often land great jobs at leading digital shops around the country.

“Ingenex has an amazingly talented class of interns this semester,” said Derek Mehraban, Ingenex CEO. “It’s part of our mission to train these talented interns, and help them advance their careers in digital marketing. It’s a great way to develop their talent, and give them real life experiences at a growing digital agency.”
