Beyond Spots & Dots President Named to BusinessWomen First List

Pittsburgh, PA, March 13, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The Pittsburgh Business Times has included Melanie Querry, President of the advertising agency Beyond Spots & Dots, in its BusinessWomen First list.

The 25 influential business women in the Pittsburgh region are featured on this list for their community involvement, volunteer activities, and business leadership. Companies included on the BusinessWomen First list include Peoples Natural Gas Company, EQT Corp., Reed Smith LLP, and PNC Bank, among others. These 25 women will be honored at a dinner and awards ceremony on March 14th at the Omni William Penn.

As a first-time nominee to the list, Querry is thankful for the recognition. Querry said, “I am honored to be included on a list with these incredible women who truly make a difference in the Pittsburgh area.” Querry, herself, is making a difference in the Pittsburgh community. Besides running the advertising agency, Querry volunteers with Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship and acts as a mentor for the Pittsburgh American Marketing Association. Querry is also making her mark on the advertising industry. Since Beyond Spots & Dots began in 2006, Querry has transformed it from a start-up to a multimillion dollar full-service advertising agency.
