"Feed the Models," a t-shirt launch party in Hollywood is a benefit for Eating Disorders Information Network. The event brought out celebrities including Paris Hilton. Solis features the Project E shirt online.

Hollywood, CA, August 09, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Solis and Project E were ecstatic to be a part of the “Feed the Models Save the World” T-shirt launch party to support the Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN). The event took place on July 24 at the Park Restaurant in Hollywood and was packed with celebrity guests such as Paris Hilton showing up to show their support.

The celebrities who arrived showed their support to EDIN by signing a “Feed the Models” t-shirt that was later auctioned off to benefit EDIN. Actress Kathy Najimy spoke eloquently of her experiences as a young actress goes through to conform to a Hollywood standard of beauty. Guess spokes model Kim Smith talked about her experiences in the modeling industry and the pressures she faces to remain thin. Other celebrities who lent their support over the course of the evening were Taryn Manning, Samuel Page, Jonathon Schaech, Olivia Wilde, Golden brooks, Geoff Stults and Brittany Snow among many others.

The benefit took an exciting turn as word spread throughout the restaurant that Paris Hilton had arrived. The press scurried as the heiress spoke of her dedication to EDIN’s important message saying that she wishes to make a difference by using her celebrity influence as a positive role model. Paris pointed out that it is as important to eat healthy, as it is to “find balance.” She also stated that she was committed to not using overly thin models in the promotional campaigns for her products.
