Newark, NJ, March 15, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- The injured victim was a 33 y/o female who was involved in an accident. Following the accident the patient's symptoms included neck pain radiating to left arm and low back pain radiating to left leg.
Dr. DePaolis confirmed the injury with physical examination, MRI and NCV/EMG nerve testing. Dr. DePaolis utilizes a medical team approach including orthopedists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, pain management, physical therapists and chiropractors.
The diagnosis included cervical disc bugle and lumber disc herniation. The patient’s restrictions included limitations of domestic duties and travel.
Physical medicine was prescribed including chiropractic treatment, passive and active rehabilitation.
The patient’s attorney, Anthony Fattell, stated: “The case settled for their policy limits without the need for litigation, which is always a plus…especially when there are small limits available to settle. I think the report is very reader-friendly…for both me and the claims adjuster reviewing it. It provides everything they need in a concise manner and provides a good map for them to look through the rest of the treatment notes, MRI, other testing etc.”
Dr. DePaolis commented, “While our patient’s health is our main concern, our documentation and reporting is always done to clearly delineate the patient’s permanent injuries and allow maximum admissibility and ease of use for the attorney handling the case.”
