Career Realtor® and Palm Springs Preservationist Gary Johns Joins The Paul Kaplan Group, Inc.

Johns, who is the vice-president of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation, joins The Paul Kaplan Group from Coldwell Banker in Palm Springs. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker, Johns was a realtor with Prudential California Realty, also in the Palm Springs area.
Earlier in his career, Johns built a solid reputation as a consistent top producer at John Aaroe and Associates where he specialized in representing both buyers and sellers in luxury property transactions in the West Hollywood, Los Feliz, and the Hollywood Hills areas. A realtor since 1977, Johns brings a wealth of experience that is reflected through numerous transactions with satisfied buyers and sellers.
Supporting his real estate career is Johns’ deep dedication to the preservation of mid-century architecture. In addition to living in a specimen of mid-century Palmer and Kreisel home, he serves on the boards of both Modernism Week (www.modernismweek.com) and The Palm Springs Preservation Foundation (www.pspreservationfoundation.com). He can often be found leading tours at the historic “Ojo Del Desierto,” or Eye of the Desert, the home built for Long Beach oil magnate, Thomas O’Donnell in the early 1900’s.
