Freehold, NJ, March 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dr. Michael Greller, a leading orthopedic surgeon and president at the Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), is the newly appointed Secretary/Treasurer of the medical staff at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. Dr. Greller has held previous positions with CentraState including Vice-Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and Chairman of the Credentials Committee.

Dr. Michael J. Greller is a board-certified and a fellowship-trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. He performed the first Zimmer “custom-fit knee” replacement surgery in the Northeast in 2010, and continues to offer patients a wide variety of non-invasive and surgical options.

Dr. Greller earned his M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, N.Y. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopedic Institute – New York University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Temple University, and spent an extra year specializing in minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, knee, and ankle. Dr. Greller was one of the first New Jersey surgeons to use minimally invasive computer-assisted hip and knee replacements. He is the assistant director of the Cartilage Restoration Center of New Jersey, managing partner and president of AOSMI, and Secretary/Treasurer of the medical staff at CentraState Medical Center. He is on staff at CentraState Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and Old Bridge Medical Center.
