Fitness Instructor Declares War on Fat; Clarence "Mack" Womack is Tired of Watching People Die from Inactivity

“I’ve read study after study and even when they disagree there’s one fact they all agree on: people who are physically fit have better and longer lives,” says Clarence “Mack” Womack.

Cleveland, OH, March 28, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Americans have been losing a war they haven’t even realized they’re in and one man is tired of seeing the casualties mount. “I’ve read study after study and even when they disagree there’s one fact they all agree on: people who are physically fit have better and longer lives,” says Clarence “Mack” Womack.

Although most people blame things like poor nutrition, junk food and genetics for their overweight condition, Womack says that those are just the symptoms of the real cause: a severe decline in physical activity over the last 100 years. “You want to avoid heart disease? You’ve got to move like you want to avoid it,” says Womack. “A hundred years ago, most people were walking to where they were going and the jobs were much more labor intensive. Now we sit in an office for 8 hours, go home and watch TV. Not good. Not good at all.”

It’s clear that “Mack” not only talks the talk, he walks the walk. A U.S. Army Veteran, he was involved in multiple sports throughout his seven year service, including Football, long distance running and Boxing. But now he’s ready for war and this week he’s firing the first shot by creating and producing a DVD that will help anyone improve the quality of their life.

Womack, a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, is out to dispel the myths that people need to work out at a gym; that working out costs a lot of money and that eating right leaves your taste buds wanting. His site (www.movewithmack.com) has information that he says will “arm the public with the weapons they need to ‘attack the fat’.”

His new DVD proves you don’t need a gym or expensive equipment to get in shape. Titled Kettlebell Cardio—War on Fat, Womack has created a total workout with equipment that costs less than $50—and that includes his DVD. The DVD is inexpensively priced at $9.99 because, as Womack says, “This is about saving lives, not making a fortune.” There are two 30 minute workouts on the DVD and Womack says that three times a week combined with a healthy diet will do serious damage to your potential for obesity related diseases.

Womack’s Kettlebell Workout combines both Cardio and Strength training, which gives his clients the most results for the least amount of time. “Of course, you can always do more and you can always be more fit, but if you want to avoid feeling like you’re 90 years old when you’re only 50, then this will do it,” says Womack. “Of course, if you want to feel like you’re 30 when you’re really 50 that might take a little more work,” he says as he flashes a grin.

The launch party is on Saturday March 30th from 3:00 - 7:00 at 1212 W. 6th Street in Cleveland. Junk food will not be served.
