Shiloh Farms® Introduces New Gluten-Free Line; Wholesome, Healthy Food Provider Announces More Than 30 Gluten-Free Products

Wholesome, healthy food provider announces more than 30 gluten-free products.

New Holland, PA, March 29, 2013 --( Today, Shiloh Farms® announced the introduction of a new line of certified gluten-free products. The new line will provide consumers with a wide selection of gluten-free products from a brand known for pure, wholesome and organic foods. The new products will be available nationwide on Shiloh Farms’ online store, and in select health food stores.

In the fall of 2011, Shiloh Farms partnered with the Susquehanna Association for the Blind and Vision Impaired (SABVI) and Nuts About Granola (NAG) to convert a donated 19,000 square-foot manufacturing plant into a certified organic food production facility with an isolated and dedicated gluten-free space. Since then, the brand has been committed to bringing its certified gluten-free products to market. Those products range from lentils, to flour, dried fruit, nuts, seeds, coconut sugar, and allergen-free chocolate chips. Many will also be certified organic and kosher, satisfying the special dietary needs of consumers across the nation.

“We are thrilled to announce the introduction of the new Shiloh Farms gluten-free line,” stated Amanda Byrd, Shiloh Farms Marketing Coordinator. “With the debut of our new certified products, we are striving to make gluten-free lifestyles a little bit easier for our customers.”

Shiloh Farms’ new line reflects the expanding marketplace and the demand for gluten-free products. According to Packaged Facts, the market for gluten-free food has grown substantially at an annual rate of 28% since 2008 reaching $4.2 billion this year and could pass $6.6 billion by 2017. Last year, it was reported that 18% of adults are avoiding food with gluten; up 15% compared to 2010. With more consumers being diagnosed with celiac disease and gluten-intolerances every day, people are eager to find better and more varied options that not only provide much-needed nutrients but also taste good. Shiloh Farms’ gluten-free products make gluten-free cooking and baking easier and safer by providing dependable products from a trusted source of pure, wholesome food.
