Renowed Artist Louis Delsarte Donates Art to Local Organization

Louis Delsarte donated artwork painted using his iPad to The Exception Campaign, Inc. this morning. To help support the work of college students making a difference in Atlanta Metropolitan Region.

Atlanta, GA, March 30, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Louis Delsarte is Atlanta’s figurative artist whose work reflected a departure from the realist style that was predominant among many of the African-American artists during the first half of the twentieth century. His multi-layered works have been described as illusionistic and myth-like, often crossing over into the world of abstraction.

“This is an example of what modern art can become, this was done on an iPad,” explained Dr. Delsarte in his Survey of Visual Arts Class at Morehouse College.

"I saw it and I wanted it, so I just asked and he agreed," echoed the young president. The Exception Campaign focuses on everything from scholarships for high school students and those currently matriculating to financial, career and professional workshops to help youth and young adults be successful.

Posted now on their website cover photo the artwork becomes symbolic of the vibrant culture and arts that floods the City of Atlanta and the difference that’s being made through philanthropic efforts. “Our slogan is, ‘It’s All About You…Really’ and it makes sense to show how we can make an impact in the lives of youth and young adults in Atlanta,” stated the President of The Exception Campaign.

The announcement comes to no surprise, when just recently the 15 staffed organization had partnered with JP Morgan Chase Bank to host financial literacy workshops in the community.

“Louis Delsarte is a living inspiration to youth and young adults everywhere why not embrace that and promote it!” said President Jesse Andrews. Visit their website to inquire more about what they do and how you can get involved with their activities at Www.TheExceptionCampaign.Org.
