APICS NYC-LI (, The Association for Operations Management New York City-Long Island Chapter, is proud to announce a collaborative event on April 15, 2013 with its student chapters and local organizations. The event is the first annual “Student-Industry Connection” which aims to “Keep Students On LI.” This Connection event will bring together students and representatives from leading industry in the New York City-Long Island area for a better understanding of who the industry organizations are and what their students have to offer. This networking opportunity is spearheaded by APICS President Dr. Jill O’Sullivan and by APICS NYC/LI Students Chapter Presidents from three Long Island colleges/universities—Bernita McGoldrick, Farmingdale State College, Victoria Ogirri, Hofstra University, and Neeti Sachdev, Stony Brook University.
