Sterling Research Group Named One of the Top 50 Woman-Led Businesses in Florida

St. Petersburg, FL, August 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Center for Leadership at Florida International University and the Commonwealth Institute South Florida has listed Sterling Research Group in the top 50 woman-led businesses in Florida. Lisa Rohrer, PhD, has been Sterling’s President and CEO since April 2006.

Rohrer has been involved with Sterling at all levels since its inception, from data entry to project director to board member. After completing her Ph.D. from the Harvard Business School in 2004 she rejoined Sterling full-time.

Sterling has been a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified company since 2003. Female employees currently hold 75% of management positions at Sterling. The Center for Leadership and the Commonwealth Institute South Florida intend to continue this study on an annual basis to provide comparisons and monitor trends.
