Local Company Continues to Impact Tennessee Business Climate

Foresight MDP adds regional blood bank to growing list of premier clients.

Chattanooga, TN, April 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The future of the blood distribution industry in East Tennessee is looking brighter this month as Chattanooga-based Foresight Management Development begins a partnership with MEDIC Regional Blood Center in Knoxville in an effort to reinvent donor relations and generate new organizational growth.

Representatives for MEDIC said that they will utilize Foresight’s Management Development Program (MDP) to empower their managers with new skills while improving overall efficiency. The blood industry as a whole faces many logistical challenges on a daily basis while trying to keep up with the constant fluctuation of supply and demand. MEDIC alone is the sole provider of blood products to 27 area hospitals.

According to Foresight CEO Candido Segarra, MDP facilitators are well-prepared for the challenge after three years of relative experience developing leaders for another regional blood bank.

“We are very confident in our ability to give MEDIC’s managers the tools that they need to be more successful and elevate the company to a new and unprecedented level,” Segarra said.

MEDIC CEO Jim Decker said that he agrees with Segarra in that the development of a quality management staff is a worthy investment for any organization that wants to succeed.

“Our vision is to become a leader in the blood services industry through product and service diversification, and Foresight’s program is part of our plan to make that vision a reality in two years or less,” Decker said.

Foresight relocated to Chattanooga in 2007 in order to take advantage of the city’s centralized location and impressive business resources. Since then, Segarra said that the company has experienced rapid growth as its reputation continues to grow throughout the Southeast with every client success story.

“Our program is like none other in the industry and continues to prove its value time and time again, but we also know that we must evolve to keep up with modern business concepts. Our staff is constantly researching new case studies and experimenting with new teaching methodologies to deliver the highest possible return on investment for our clients in any environment,” Segarra said.

Foresight is also an industry pioneer in the use of high definition video conferencing technology, which allows them to provide services to MEDIC and other regional clients while keeping costs affordable for companies of all sizes. Segarra said that Foresight’s certified technicians have perfected a unique “Virtual Classroom” design that gives participants a high quality experience without the inconvenience and expenses of constant travel.

The Foresight offices are located in the historic Miller Building at 629 Market Street, Suite 120.
