CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners Sells 296 Acres in Houston Suburb of Huffman

Houston, TX, April 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners (CASE) is pleased to announce the sale of 296 acres of raw land in the growing community of Huffman, Texas. Adjacent to the Fairway Oaks neighborhood, the land surrounds the renovated Red Wolf Golf Course off of Fairway Oaks Drive near FM 2100 and north of Wolf Road. The property resides near the banks of Lake Houston, just over 30 minutes from the Central Business District and 20 minutes from Bush Intercontinental Airport.

CASE’s Scott Davis, senior director, marketed the asset on behalf of the seller, Patriot Bank. The property was sold for an undisclosed amount to 140 Boggs Rd, Ltd, a real estate investment group who purchased the land for investment and single family development. Joe Fogarty with Arete Real Estate Development represented the purchaser.

“The Red Wolf tracts represented a unique opportunity for a purchaser to develop housing adjacent to the popular golf course,” said Davis. “The market area is growing and the housing values in the vicinity are increasing.”

Currently undeveloped, the property sits on the edge of several established communities including Fairway Crossing at Lake Houston, Lochshire, Idleloch, and Pine Way. Each of these neighborhoods benefits from the award-winning Huffman Independent School District, a AAA district which ranks in the top 10 percent of the state. The population of Huffman has grown at a steady rate of 3.8 percent annually since the 2000 Census.
