Full-Service Design Firm and Subsidiary of SMT Will Provide Creative Solutions For Television Broadcasting Industry

As a subsidiary of SMT, (n+1) designstudio seamlessly integrates its design work into TV broadcast graphics packages for SMT and other clients. Led by Executive Director Janet Arlotta, (n+1) designstudio’s management team represents more than 25 years of graphics, data presentation and technology expertise. Arlotta joined SMT as vice president of creative services in 2009 to form the SMT Creative Services Group, which is responsible for graphic creation and manipulation of on-air packages, interface design, and virtual technologies for SMT clients. Prior to joining SMT, she led Fuel, an internationally recognized, Emmy-award winning, branding, design and production firm in the world of broadcast television, advertising and film.

(n+1) design studio is excited to announce the recent hire of internationally acclaimed creative head, Bob English who will serve as (n+1) designstudio’s senior creative director. English most recently created Thebritpack in 2001 and prior to that co-founded English+Pockett (UK) before traveling to the U.S. and New York to be the senior creative director for Lee Hunt Associates. Bob has acted as a consultant to clients in media and entertainment. English has earned awards from D&AD, Royal Television Society, BBC Design, Telly Awards, International New York Festivals, Monitor, Leaf and PromaxBDA.

(n+1) designstudio will participate in the 2013 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Show beginning Monday, April 8, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nev., where they can be found at the Brainstorm booth #10621.
