Online Synthetic Phonics Programme Launch Imminent

Debbie Hepplewhite International Online Synthetic Phonics Program looks set to launch in time for the start of the new school term this September.

Newbury, United Kingdom, August 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Speaking of her program this week, Debbie Hepplewhite said, "It has been a 'labour of love'. My aim is to deliver a complete package that will guide parents, homeschoolers, students and individual teachers through the complexities of the English writing code in a logical and easily understood way whilst, at the same time, providing sufficient tuition, materials and resources to satisfy any school's curriculum needs for teaching beginning reading and spelling and intervention. It has to be absolutely right and completely comprehensive. My aim from the start has been to make it easy to understand, accessible to all, affordable and with a support service that means anyone who buys in to it, be they a school or a parent, will not be left alone. "

The course is split into 12 units each of which will include teaching materials, guidance, worksheets, audio and video instruction and access to an online forum and a support helpline. Parents will be able to pay on a subscription 'pay-as-you-learn' basis.

"Indications are that there will be a good take up, so it was important to get the pricing right, said Debbie. I want everyone who puts their faith in me to feel like they are getting value for money and it has been very difficult to arrive at what we feel is a fair price. I think we need to move away from the expensive commercially produced textbooks and workbooks culture. Buying into my program virtually eliminates the need for schools to buy another phonics textbook or workbook ever again! Once you have purchased a license, materials can be downloaded again and again for no additional cost. Subscribe, and you have unlimited access to the materials."

The costs of subscribing to Debbie's course are as follows:

Schools and other educational establishments will be required to purchase a 'multi-user licence' for £333 (+ VAT where payable). This will allow unlimited access to the course materials for up to 8 'users'. A £33 annual licence renewal fee is payable thereafter giving continued access to the website, all course materials, any updates, the members message forum and the 'live online training sessions' and the support service.

Parents and individuals can purchase the course on a 12 part subscription basis at £11 per unit (plus VAT where payable), or, save £21 and purchase the whole course for £100 (plus VAT where payable). An £11 annual membership licence fee is payable after year 1, giving the same benefits as described above.

For both schools and individuals, unit 1 of the course is free. This means you can effectively try before you buy.
