Chesterfield Video Wins Two Hanley Video Awards

Chesterfield Video Services recently was nominated for nine Hanley Awards and won two Hanley Awards for work the studio created in 2006. Chesterfield Video Services' Holiday Video Card, a new concept for holiday cards, was the big winner.

St. Louis, MO, August 15, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Chesterfield Video Services recently won two Hanley awards at the 7th annual Home Video Studio (HVS) Getaway in Orlando, Florida. The Hanley Awards are HVS’ version of the Oscars, which recognize achievement in the movie industry. HVS is the United States’ leading video production services franchise with studios located across America, two in Canada and one in Sweden.

Studio owner, Emmett Pyatt, was nominated in nine of the 32 Hanley award categories. Studio owners from across the world entered to win Best Video Production, Best Documentary, and Best of Show to name a few types of honors. The Hanley’s, named after Robert Hanley, the founder and president of Home Video Studio, are in recognition of a studio owner’s work during the past year.

Chesterfield Video Service located in Chesterfield, won awards for its work in the Best Mixed Photo Video Keepsake and Best Use Of Music category. The Best Mixed Photo Video Keepsake award was for a DVD video that featured video clips and still photos, complete with music and voice-overs in an unique Video Holiday Card that was sent to friends, relatives and business associates as means of keeping them up-to-date with family activities.

“We strive to produce the best work for our customers and it’s nice to know that other professional video studio owners are impressed as well,” says Pyatt. “The Video Holiday Card is an enhanced medium (DVD) to use a holiday card for personal use as well as a business tool. The people who received the video card just raved about it.”

Chesterfield Video Service also won for its work in the Best Use Of Music category. The DVD video featured highlights from an area youth baseball team.

“The kids were the real winners in this video,” say Pyatt. “They enjoyed the video almost as much as I enjoyed creating it and they have something they can treasure for years to come.”

In addition to being an honored guest at the gala black-tie Hanley Awards ceremony, Pyatt participated in video production training in lighting, audio, camera techniques and video editing at the HVS Getaway Convention. These studio owners use Apple’s Final Cut Pro™ and DVD Studio Pro ™ along with other video and graphic software programs to ensure the highest quality of work performed. This is the same technology utilized in the making of Hollywood movies and network television shows.

HVS studio owners provide at least 27 different types of professional video services. Some of those services include video to Sports Scholarship Videos, Sports Highlight Videos, Marketing Videos, DVD transfers, photo/video montage keepsakes, home movie transfers, videotape duplication, video editing, legal video services, and music scholarship videos.
