Cleveland, OH, April 19, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Cedar Brook Financial Partners, LLC is proud to announce that Bill Hawke, partner, is spearheading an effort to raise $20,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Since 2010, in partnership with the Nosal family, Bill and his family have been participating in fundraising missions with LLS through the Team in Training (TNT) program.
The Hawkes and Nosal families have participated in 100-mile bike rides, marathons, half marathons and triathlon endurance events.
“As a cancer survivor, raising money for LLS is very personal. My dear friend, Bob Nosal, and I were both diagnosed with blood cancers years ago and very fortunate to have received treatment so that we are able to participate in these important fundraising events. We have to find a cure for this ugly disease since most blood cancers cannot be prevented,” said Bill Hawke, Cedar Brook partner.
