Dining Highlights in May at Dover Downs Hotel & Casino

Dover, DE, May 02, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Dover Downs Hotel & Casino announces dining specials in May to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day weekend and Memorial Day.

The May 5 Cinco de Mayo celebration in The Festival Buffet will feature a variety of Mexican specials including made-to-order fajitas and quesadillas, taco bar, enchiladas, fish tacos, chili bar, dessert nachos and spiced rum cake.

Michele’s will feature Mother’s Day specials all weekend, beginning May 10 and 11 with Mother’s Day Eve Dinner between 5–10 p.m. featuring the regular menu, as well as unique specials and cocktails. The Festival Buffet will offer special Mother’s Day fare on May 12. Prices are $21.95 (12 or older), $10.50 (5-11 years), $5.25 (4 or younger). Mother’s Day Brunch in the Ballroom will be offered between 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. and feature a carving station and a wide variety of entrees, breakfast items, salads and desserts. To commemorate Memorial Day on May 27, happy hour begins early at 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the Garden Café and Race & Sports Book with appetizers and daily specials. The Festival Buffet will feature summer classics off the grill like hamburgers, hotdogs, sausage, steaks, ribs and corn in addition to freshly prepared vegetable wraps, hand-carved sandwiches, sushi table and seafood bar, all available throughout the day and night.
