Launching the 5-Minute Workout Series for Charity

NX Fitness Launches the “Workout of the Week” 5-Minute Contest Series.

Santa Monica, CA, May 03, 2013 --(PR.com)-- NX Fitness introduces the 5-Minute Workout of the Week (“WOW”), where each week they will introduce a brand new 5-minute exercise challenge on their website. This is part of the “No Excuse – 5 Minutes to Fit” campaign to help busy individuals get rid of any excuse that’s preventing them from living a healthy lifestyle. The WOW contests will offer fitness prizes and guest workouts from leading fitness personalities.

The contest will live on the NX Fitness website and will allow users to watch a short video demonstrating that week’s workout. Once they’ve completed the workout they’ll be given the option to upload their time, a photo, or a video of themselves, earning points and a shot at being on the Leaderboard. They can then share their results with their friends to vote and help them earn extra points. Matt Richter-Sand is especially looking forward to the contests.

“I’m really excited about launching the WOW (Workout of the Week). I think it will give people a fun, no-excuses challenge that they can do anytime, anywhere. The interactive voting aspect will help their friends offer extra support and encouragement, and even better if we can raise awareness for a charity at the same time.”

Best of all, each week will feature a different charity. The charity logo and donation link will live on the contest homepage and encourage users to make a donation to help support the respective association. The first contest will support the American Diabetes Association, the charity to whom NX Fitness donates portions of company revenue.
