West Lancs Borough Council Choose YorPower Diesel Generator

Leeds, United Kingdom, May 06, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Yorpower, a leading independent diesel generator manufacturer and supplier based in the UK, announce that they have been appointed by West Lancashire Borough Councilto to supply a fully integrated diesel generator for their offices in Ormskirk.

The project, which will be completed in December this year by the YorPower installation team, will involve the decommissioning of the existing backup generator and associated systems before the installation of the new unit: a 60kVA Perkins powered diesel generator, which will be linked to a 30 kVA UPS system.

The generator installation will require a mobile crane to position the unit, electrical engineers to program and commission the works and a load bank to carry out a functional on site load test.
