Building Bridges for Small Business is to help connect and build the bridge each small business owner needs to travel from small business startup to a profitable viable organization contributing to economic growth and job creation.

Public Relations (CB|PR), an Atlanta based PR Boutique established to help Atlanta small business owners survive by raising awareness thru pr efforts, is hosting a community event –Building Bridges for Small Business -in effort to boost Atlanta’s economic growth via arranging various resources to business owners required for a sustainable and thriving business.

Several media outlets have confirmed attendance. The radio platform attending is Klarque Garrison of Survival Radio Network. The event was scheduled surrounding Garrison’s availability in that attendees are able to introduce their company on air during SRN live remote. AJC small business focus staffer has accepted invitation to attend and The Atlanta Voice newspaper representative has also joined forces to assist Atlanta’s small business market.

“Starting a small business can be intimidating, especially with our economy. I know this firsthand because I myself am a small business owner,” is the reply received from host and CB|PR CEO, LaCier Black when asked why she organized this event.

According to the most current federal data available, Georgia has 722,089 small businesses. Of those businesses -198,271 have employees- which mean the remaining 523,818 are Georgia small businesses that have no employees! CNNMoney.com in conjunction with the Kauffman Foundation, list Atlanta among the most business friendly communities in America. In a population of 5,376,285 this report identifies Atlanta as having 129,796 of small business owners (1-49 employees).

Black explains, it’s this research that is the basis and principle surrounding Building Bridges for Small Business (BB|SB). “It is this market niche that requires the most support. To remain in a competitive market, business owners require resources of all kind. BB|SB is designed to accomplish just this!” Cier B.
