A Day of Giving Back to Shreveport

Shreveport, LA, May 15, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Every year on May 9, there is a special event that happens all over the country; it’s a day of celebration, a day of thanks, a day of giving back to the community. It’s called Red Day and it was started by one person in the company of Keller Williams Realty. This one day for Keller Williams is now dedicated to celebrate communities all over the country by each and every market center throughout the company. For one day, Keller Williams closes their doors and gives back to the charity of their choice.

For the market center of Shreveport, The Shriner’s Hospital became the recipient of Red Day this year. The Shriner’s Hospital in Shreveport was the very first in the country and has been a continued a place for healing for those who need their services. Many in the KW Market Center, along with vendors of the real estate industry, volunteered to make Red Day a success. The REAL Team of Keller Williams, a team that recently joined KW, enjoyed giving their time to the brave and wonderful children at Shriner’s Hospital. After helping with small creative activities for the children, a tour was given throughout the facility. It was a highlight for The REAL Team and others that attended Red Day.

Keller Williams spent an incredible time at the Shriner’s Hospital this year. The event, that was to be an expression of appreciation for all that the hospital does for our community, became a moving experience for Shreveport’s Keller Williams and everyone involved.
