Corporate Risk Solutions Hires New Senior Cyber Security Consultant, Steven Reed

Lenexa, KS, May 23, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Corporate Risk Solutions, Inc. (CRSI) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Steven Reed, CISSP, CEH, CPT, CET, who will join the team as Senior Security Consultant. In this role, Steven will support CRSI’s energy clients in all aspects of their cyber security needs – including compliance audits, penetration testing, network assessments, physical risk assessments, and gap analysis of policies and procedures.

Mr. Reed has over 30 years of Information Technology and Cyber Security experience, and comes to Corporate Risk Solutions following a 29 year career at the Central Intelligence Agency as an Information Security, COMSEC, and Telecommunications Officer, followed by several years as a Department of Defense contractor. Mr. Reed was most recently the lead security engineer for one of the primary battlefield intelligence data systems used by the DoD, and in his lengthy CIA career he spearheaded many critical efforts that earned him six Exceptional Performance Awards, including the design, development and deployment of complex, multi-million dollar secure voice and data systems that continue to serve the Intelligence Community today. His broad skill set includes INFOSEC Engineering, COMSEC, LAN/WAN Engineering and systems management, Information Assurance Architecture, secure communications, policy and practices, as well as system development, programming, and electronics.
