Butterfly Proudly Sponsors the 2013 Canadian Table Tennis Championships

Wilson, NC, May 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Butterfly is pleased to announce sponsorship of the 2013 Butterfly Canadian Table Tennis Championships. The tournament is July 8 to July 14 at the Citadel High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Canadian Championships table tennis tournament includes the Canadian Senior Championships and the Canadian Junior Championships. The tournament features combined events in four categories, which are Singles, Doubles, Teams, and Table Tennis for Life Events (TT4L).

The Singles events feature Cadet 15 Boys, Cadet 15 Girls, Junior 18 Boys, Junior 18 Girls, Youth 21 Men, Youth 21 Women, Open Singles Men, and Open Singles Women events. Doubles includes Junior 18 Boys, Junior 18 Girls, Men's Doubles, and Women's Doubles. Team events are Cadet 15 Boys, Cadet 15 Girls, Junior 18 Boys, Junior 18 Girls, Men's Team, and Women's Team. Table Tennis for Life Events (TT4L) feature rated events (U3000, U2400, U1800 and U1200) plus Over 40 Men, Over 40 Women, Over 50 Men, Over 50 Women, Over 60 Men and over 60 Women.

In addition, a HOPES WEEK, with two organized events (one in the West and one in the East), will take place in lieu of the previous Junior Championships Cadet 13 and Cadet 11 age categories.
