Central New York Company Successfully Promoting Women Entrepreneurs

Syracuse, NY, August 24, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Women TIES (Women Together Inspiring Entrepreneurial Success), a company based in Syracuse, New York, is successfully promoting Central New York women entrepreneurs with each other to assist them in forging economic connections and increasing their sales.

President, Tracy Higginbotham, started the company two and half years ago after being a women entrepreneur for thirteen years and a local leader of women entrepreneurship for eleven years. After being awarded the 2005 Women in Business Champion award from the US SBA, she was inspired to start her second company to further her passion for promoting and connecting women entrepreneurs.

Women TIES is successfully creating a regional marketplace for women entrepreneurs through an active online directory, regional events, weekly inspirational emails and online regional marketplace. "The number of women joining our organization keeps growing as we continue to reach out to women all over New York State," states Higginbotham. Plans for additional expansion in the fourth quarter of 2007 will continue to increase the company's visibility and membership numbers.
