School’s Out, But Youth Still Learning with the Way to Happiness

The Way to Happiness will take part in a celebration to commence the beginning of summer in the neighborhood of Edgehill in Nashville.

Nashville, TN, May 31, 2013 --(PR.com)-- School’s out for summer, which usually signals a time for learning to end. But not for the Edgehill neighborhood of Nashville, where kids will spend some of their summer studying a seemingly lost subject -- morality.

Edgehill is hosting a “School’s Out Bash” at the end of May to bring the community together for a fun time and to give youth resources for the summer. Organizations will participate in the bash by giving out information to youth. One organization to participate is The Way to Happiness Foundation.

The Way to Happiness is a book written by L. Ron Hubbard in the early 1980s when he found that morality was on the decline in society. The book demonstrates twenty-one precepts which can be applied by anyone to increase morality and happiness. Some of the concepts included are: take care of yourself, love and help children and do not harm a person of goodwill.

Chris Hays who organizes the local chapter of the Way to Happiness Foundation says, “We are very excited to get this book out to the youth. Many aren’t taught morals as they should be and this book is a great resource because it can be understood and applied by anyone.”
