Orlando, FL, June 01, 2013 --(PR.com)-- ABD Development Company and Lennar Homes are announcing a major land deal within the award-winning community of Providence, located in Polk County, Fla. With this recent acquisition, Lennar, Orlando’s number one homebuilder, will debut more than 260 additional home sites within the luxury gated golf community through 2016, including the subdivisions of Lakeside Villas, Grantham Springs, and Victoria Woods. Lennar has built its homes in the Cortland Woods subdivision within Providence for several years.

Located approximately 25 miles southwest of downtown Orlando, Providence was developed in 2005 and currently features 700 occupied homes. The showpiece of Providence is the 18-hole Michael Dasher-designed golf course, clubhouse with pro shop and restaurant, fitness and aquatic center with two pools, and lighted tennis courts. The countryside location and elegant design of Providence has earned ABD Development the Grand Showcase and First Place Awards for Community Development in the 2012 and 2013 Orlando Parade of Homes competitions.

Founded in 1954 and headquartered in Miami, Lennar is known nationwide as one of the most trusted homebuilders of quality construction. Its custom homes are found in the most desirable real estate markets across the nation, including Providence.

“We look forward to our continued growth within the Providence community,” stated Mark Metheny, President of Lennar Homes’ Central Florida Division. “The partnership with ABD Development is mutually beneficial and we look forward to providing future homeowners with more exclusive home sites within this luxury golf community.”

ABD Development’s President Yuval Botansky was pleased to see the exclusive Lennar-ABD Development land deal successfully close on May 9. “Many of the prospective new home buyers in Orlando are looking to build with Lennar, so increasing the number of lots available in Providence is beneficial to both companies, providing even more attractive options for those wanting to live within our very special community.”
