)-- Eileen O’Connor - President, Becky Borci - President Elect and Diane Batista - Vice President of Membership for WCR, Englewood on the Gulf Chapter, participated in the WCR Mid-Year meetings in Washington, D.C., May 16-19, sponsored by the Women’s Council of REALTORS® (WCR), a national professional development organization with 14,000 members. The Englewood on the Gulf Chapter was presented the Gold Award for Chapter Excellence, at the WCR Awards Banquet on Friday, May 14, 2010, in Washington, D.C.
As a volunteer leader, O’Connor, Borci and Batista’s role is to deliver on the Council’s brand promise to provide education, business tools, recruiting and support that meet the distinct needs of women entrepreneurs in the REALTOR® community. They learned techniques for developing superior education programs, providing business networking opportunities to chapter members and recruiting and retaining new members to the chapter.
WCR focuses on providing quality training that prepares leaders with the skills and tools required to lead their members to the highest professional level.
