Working Person’s Store Sponsors 13th Annual D.A.D.’s Day Poker Run

Helping to Raise Money for Dollar’s Against Diabetes

South Bend, IN, June 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The St. Joseph Valley Building Trades will be holding the D.A.D.’s Day Poker Run on July 15th, 2013. Working Person’s Store will be sponsoring the D.A.D.’s Day Poker Run for the 13th consecutive year.

Eric Deniger, CEO of Working Person’s Store said, “It is such a pleasure to be able to sponsor such a great event every year. 13 years in and it gets better every year.”

Each person who wants to participate and ride will donate $20, and for an extra $10 the rider can get an extra hand to play. All proceeds will be donated to “Dollar’s Against Diabetes” which is a charity run by the American Diabetes Association.

The ride will begin and end at the South Bend Maennerchor Club which is located at 219 North Sycamore St. in South Bend. The first bike will leave to begin the run at 10:00am and the last bike must be back by 5:00pm. There will be an “after-party” for all participants including food, live music, door prizes, and a beer garden. Others can join in the fun of the “after-party” by donating $5 toward “Dollar’s Against Diabetes” at the door.

Jay Mummy, the Union Representative said, “We are excited to see the turnout this year and hope that it is even better than last year. This is such a positive experience for everyone involved.”
