)-- The American Venous Forum (AVF) would like to thank Cook Medical Inc., Tactile Systems Technology Inc., Vascular Insights LLC and Volcano Corporation for hosting workshops during The Vein Forum: A Comprehensive Hands-On Course for Practicing Physicians. The Vein Forum will take place on October 11-12 in Boston, MA. Through the educational grants awarded by these companies, AVF is able to provide clinicians a unique educational opportunity beyond a basic introduction to venous disease. State-of-the-art lectures by leaders in venous disease are complemented by hands-on practice with models, edited video presentations and a limit of 50 registered attendees. The goal of the course is to educate and update practicing clinicians regarding the latest theories and developments in the clinical practice of vein disease management. Clinicians will gain an overall understanding of vein disease to allow them to successfully incorporate venous knowledge, skills and techniques into their overall practice. CME accreditation is currently pending.
