)-- Celebrity Chef Ming Tsai is known for his award-winning East-West cuisine, television show, and dedication to supporting the local community. On June 25, his Blue Ginger restaurant in Wellesley is hosting “A Decade of Making a Difference,” the third in a series of nationwide events celebrating the 10th anniversary of The SAMFund for Young Adult Survivors of Cancer.

Thanks to Chef Tsai’s commitment to fighting cancer and the kind generosity of our sponsors, 100% of the ticket price will directly benefit young adults struggling with the financial devastation of cancer,” says Samantha Watson, cancer survivor and The SAMFund Founder.
Over the past ten years, Massachusetts-based The SAMFund has supported thousands of young adult cancer survivors across the country, providing hope, resources, and financial assistance to move beyond cancer. The organization has awarded $900,000 in grants for assistance with current and residual medical bills, car and health insurance premiums, rent, utilities, tuition and loans, family-building expenses, and more.
Together with nationwide celebration efforts, Blue Ginger’s “A Decade of Making a Difference” event will enable The SAMFund to grant its one millionth dollar this Fall. To be part of this critical milestone, the public is invited to enjoy the event, and learn more about how they can help make a difference.
Event tickets are $75 before June 18 and $100 thereafter (if available) at thesamfund.org and include cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, silent auction and more.
