Jo To Go Coffee Launches ‘On the Go Foods’

Jo To Go Coffee's new Executive Chef has created a fast, gourmet menu that is currently being tested at the company's Jo To Go Coffee cafe. The coffee franchise will eventually offer the On The Go Foods menu at drive-thru locations nationwide.

Green Bay, WI, August 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Jo To Go Coffee franchise has expanded into new territory with the launch of On the Go Foods. President Dick DuBois said the “On the Go” gourmet food concept is currently being tested and developed at the company’s Jo To Go Coffee® café and that items such as sandwich wraps and additional soups may be added to the menu soon. On The Go Foods will eventually be offered at Jo To Go Coffee® drive-thru locations nationwide.

“We decided it was time to grow our ‘fast and fabulous’ concept to include healthy, gourmet foods that, like our specialty coffee drinks, will energize people to tackle life head on,” commented Jo To Go Coffee® president Dick DuBois. “On the Go Foods is a natural extension of Jo To Go Coffee®.”

Executive Chef Matt Rotter has been busy developing and testing his gourmet recipes, drawing on his considerable experience in the restaurant industry to come up with fast, portable creations that appeal to the taste buds and energize the body. The menu includes a selection of gourmet salads, sandwiches, and soup to go, all priced at under $5.00:

• The salads use fresh-chopped ingredients that are prepared daily at the café and feature a variety of dressings.
• The salad sandwiches feature grade-A tuna, egg, or chicken served on thick slices of whole wheat bread.
• The gourmet soups are made with natural, unprocessed ingredients, and are always fresh and ready to go.

Matt Rotter brings a wealth of experience to Jo To Go Coffee. He started in the restaurant industry when he was just 10 years old, working at his family’s restaurant business. He later went on to attend the apprenticeship program at Fox Valley Technical College for the Culinary Arts while working for a prominent Wisconsin country club. He has worked as a gourmet chef for the past seven and a half years.
