Butterfly North America is Pleased to Sponsor the Butterfly International Open

Wilson, NC, June 20, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Butterfly North America is pleased and honored to sponsor the Butterfly International Open, being hosted by the Canadian Chinese Table Tennis Association (CCTTA), June 29-30, in Markham Ontario. The CCTTA is the largest not-for-profit table tennis club in North America with over 500 members and 40 world-class Butterfly tables.

Participating in the Butterfly International Open, will be Butterfly player, Kalinikos Kreanga, from Greece. Kreanga has been one of the dominant European table tennis players since the beginning of the 1990s. In 2011, Kreanga won the Europe Top 12 gold medal. In 2003, Kreanga won the bronze medal in singles at the World Championships in Paris.

Also participating in the Butterfly International Open will be Butterfly sponsored Eugene Zhen Wang from Ottawa. Wang has been the dominant North American player the last five years. In 2012, Wang won men’s singles gold at the US Open and the Canadian Championships. This year Wang has won the Butterfly Cary Cup, Garden State Open, and Butterfly Vancouver Open tournaments.
