Channel Islands Harbor Celebrates 4th of July with Full Day of Food and Fun

Fireworks by the Sea is a full day of family activities, including a farmer’s market and old fashioned family BBQ, live music, petting zoo, inflatable fun zone, a rock climbing wall and food booths.

Oxnard, CA, June 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Channel Islands Harbor celebrates the 4th of July with a full day of family activities. The fireworks display begins at 9 p.m., but there is plenty to do before then. Marine Emporium Landing will have activities between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., including a farmer’s market and old fashioned family BBQ, live music, petting zoo, inflatable fun zone, a rock climbing wall and food booths. The annual Children’s 4th of July Parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. and proceeds from Albacore Way up Harbor Blvd. to Cabezone Cirlce. A 10K and 5K fun run/walk begins at 8 a.m. along Sunset Lane, Hollywood Beach, registration begins at 7 a.m.

Channel Islands Harbor serves as a center of recreation, boating, shopping and water sports activities.
