American Academy of Private Physicians Launches Nationwide Web Directory

Glen Allen, VA, June 22, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The American Academy of Private Physicians announced today the launch of their new website PrivatePhysicians.com. The site serves as a national directory of private physicians and is the only one of its kind. Owned and managed by the AAPP, PrivatePhysicians.com is a valuable resource for both doctors and patients looking to benefit from this new wave of medicine.

Founded in 2003, the AAPP came about as a response to the country’s ever-growing health care crisis. Doctors who wished to offer their patients higher quality, more personalized care came up with a business model for independent health care focused on true doctor/patient relationships. Matthew Priddy, M.D., President of the AAPP said, “We’re very excited to offer the first national directory of Direct Care practices. There has been an intense and growing interest from both patients and physicians in this type of medical model, and we’re proud to have developed the only go-to resource for identifying and contacting local Private Medicine practices.”

Visitors to PrivatePhysicians.com can search The Official Directory of Private Physicians by doctor’s name, state, city or zip code to find just the right practice in their community. Doctors who have a private practice can create a basic listing for free or pay to create a premium listing, which includes an annual membership to the AAPP.
