)-- The Warrior’s Society™ is an original entertainment training and life improvement program located at 401 N. Oak Forest Rd, Goldsboro, NC. The program offers employment training for the entertainment industry to area youth and young adults. It is known for its expressive arts and comprehensive approach to community development and life change. Founded by Stan Taylor in 2004. He states, "The mission is to raise the musical standards and to provide new choices, styles and formats that entertain without moral harm and uplift the human spirit." The goals of the program include building character and integrity within talented young people, while providing training and ultimately creating jobs in the entertainment industry.
With over fifty years combined experience in film, television, interactive media, theater, music production and talent management The Warrior’s Society’s™ management team is helping to accomplish the building of an accredited school of the arts and non-profit to for-profit business collaborative efforts with entertainment industry professionals. The Warrior’s Society™ aims to fulfill a large entertainment void in Wayne County while emphasizing employment and business training related to music, television, and film industries.
The Warrior’s Society™ artist El Makur and comedian D.L. Henry will be performing on August 31, 2007 at 7:00pm in the Goldsboro High School Auditorium. Students of The Warrior’s Society™ L.I.F.E. Arts Program will be experiencing hands-on training with the production of the event.
