Urgent Update On Stop-Watch & Respond, August Vigil
On Sunday, August 26th, the Stop~Watch team experienced mechanical difficulties making the drive to NY from GA. Arrival for the Coney Island Vigil is not expected to be made on time as a result. They are asking that you please continue the campaign from your home and area CAPA Locations between 9pm and 10pm EST. The attempt to light up the shore of Coney Island will be made again on the next vigil date of Sunday September 30, 2007. "Rest in peace August 2007 child abuse fatalities."

They are asking that participants please continue the campaign from their home and area CAPA Locations between 9pm and 10pm EST. The attempt to light up the shore of Coney Island will be made again on the next vigil date of Sunday September 30, 2007. "All we can say sadly is that we will not give up the fight. This is not failure, this simply shows that we are still in need of help. A rental car would have avoided this road block. It is time to aggressively attack child abuse crimes in this nation. The Stop~Watch & Respond Campaign is taking action and taking a stand. On Sunday, September 30th, all those who seek to take a stand are asked to place a lit vigil candle in the front window of their home or business in honor of the children killed in August. Please light vigil candles once a month on the night Stop~Watch & Respond team lights up the “Dear America letter” on Coney Island beach. The carved letter will be large enough to be read from airlines flying over shore. All those seeking to take aggressive action are asked to visit their web site and join your area Child Abuse Prevention Activist group.
Their team will not stop until every state, zip code and university is fully present, aware and accounted for. It is time to Stop when we suspect abuse. Watch to identify an abusive situation that could leave one traumatized and witness if the person involved is being emotionally, physically or mentally threatened. Then, respond by "Making it your business" to safely do something.
