Cosmic Comic Book Fans Find New Forum: The Cosmic Comics Continuum

The new forum for fans of "cosmic" comics, www.cosmiccomicscontinuum.com is now online.

Burlington, VT, August 28, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The Cosmic Comics Continuum, a new online forum for discussion for fans of so-called "cosmic" comic book storytelling, is now open online at www.cosmiccomicscontinuum.com.

Comic book fans like to talk comics with other comic book fans. With the recent success of Marvel Comics "Annihilation" and DC Comics "52" and "Mystery In Space", website founder Mike Luoma felt the time was right for a new forum dedicated exclusively to Cosmic comic books.

"Cosmic comics have been around a long time," Luoma said. "Jack Kirby's 'New Gods', Jim Starlin's 'Dreadstar' and his entire spectrum of work for Marvel Comics, Adam Strange at DC, these are just a few that spring to mind off the top of my head. Right now, there's a real resurgence in science fiction or 'cosmic' comics. Marvel has their second 'Annihilation' event going on, which takes place in outer space. DC are about to turn Starlin loose on Kirby's creations with a 'Death of the New Gods' miniseries. Plus their space travelers from '52' are about to go back into space in 'Countdown to Adventure'. And that's just the two major companies. There are indies publishing sci-fi comics, too. So if you're a fan of cosmic comics there's a lot to talk about."

It's free to join and post at www.cosmiccomicscontinuum.com. "I really just wanted to create a place where fans like myself can gather and talk," Luoma said. "The Cosmic Comics Continuum isn't geared toward making money, but more toward making friends." Interested fans can join in the discussion now at www.cosmiccomicscontinuum.com.
