Austin, TX, July 03, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Each year, thrill seekers from all over the nation have the opportunity to rappel down a building for a cause in Make-A-Wish’s® Austin Over the Edge campaign. All money raised by rappellers goes to granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. In Austin, participants had to raise at least $1,500 to fight their fears and rappel down the 32 stories of the One American Center, at the heart of downtown. This year’s Austin Over the Edge broke nationwide records, marking the campaign’s most participants to participate in the event in the country and the largest fundraising total reached. This year’s fundraising total was more than twice the amount of last year’s event.
To support the initiative, Envision Creative Group donated all its services, designing the brand identity, developing the website, and creating all necessary marketing materials, including banners and posters. Vice President, Stephanie Silver, along with employees Stephanie Meyer and Michael Gabriel, also participated in the event.
“Envision helped us to create a cohesive branding profile for Over the Edge in the community,” stated Scott Crews of Make-A-Wish® Central & South Texas. “I know it played a huge part in the success of this year’s event.”
David Smith, President of Envision Creative Group, was overjoyed to see the impact of the agency’s work. “There was no hesitation when my team learned that our creative vision could be used to help such a wonderful foundation. Playing a part in this event has brought everyone in the office closer together, and nothing can compare to the feeling you get from making a difference.”
