American Sleep Apnea Announces Remake of Video

Remake of 1994's "What is Sleep Apnea?" video made possible through grant.

Washington, DC, August 29, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The American Sleep Apnea Association plans to provide unbiased information on diagnosis and treatment on Obstructive Sleep Apnea through a remake of the organization‘s 1994 video, “What is Sleep Apnea?”

Made possible through a recent grant, key members of the ASAA are currently interviewing production companies, making pre-production updates on the video, script development, locations for the video’s sleep lab sequences, and casting of actors and actresses.

The new version of “What Is Sleep Apnea?” is targeted to begin production in September 2007 with the goal to have the video completed in time for the 2007 holiday season.

The American Sleep Apnea Association is the only non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about sleep apnea and to serving people with this common disorder.

The American Sleep Apnea Association is dedicated to reducing injury, disability, and death from sleep apnea and to enhancing the well-being of those affected by this common disorder.
