The Creative Way to Grow Your Business

Darn Good Yarn Inc and Cre8tion Crochet join forces to show the amazing effects of their collaboration while bringing thousands of fans fresh crochet designs in yarns made from reclaimed materials and help hundreds around the globe.

Dover Foxcroft, ME, July 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Darn Good Yarn is all too familiar with fun yarns that are made from reclaimed materials and help hundreds of families who are impoverished in India and Nepal while employing individuals in North America too. But there has been something lacking from this growing business.

Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Nicole Snow laughingly says, “Darn Good Yarn has hundreds of amazing yarns but a ridiculously small collection of patterns.” Snow says that this in-part because she ran as a one-woman operation for years and like most business owners, she simply did not have the time to get it all done. With Darn Good Yarn winning the first ever FedEx Small Business Grant Competition now Darn Good Yarn can collaborate with upcoming artists while bringing in many new lines of yarn.

Nicole met Lorene of Cre8tion Crochet through collaboration with another crafting site. Lorene also runs another blog, Cre8tive Living where the focus is on green living, which goes hand in hand with the philosophies of Darn Good Yarn. "This collaboration was the perfect fit Cre8tion Crochet. Nicole and I have many of the same views and philosophies when it comes to business and life in general. We both want to help other members of our communities to grow within themselves and be successful with their business’ with an emphasis on sustainable living and crafting," says Lorene, Owner/Designer of Cre8tion Crochet.

After some discussions, the Cre8tion brand and Darn Good Yarn Inc are now announcing that they are going to work hand-in-hand. Cre8tion Crochet will be the official crochet designer for Darn Good Yarn Inc. Snow says, “As independent artists and store owners, it is critical to learn to work together and find others who have similar goals to yours with complementary audiences.” Lorene agrees, “Collaborating with other artists and business owners in this field has helped me grow my business tremendously. I believe sharing the love and helping other people grow their business will only make this brand stronger and help the business grow as well. Karma is just as relevant in business as it is in life.”
