Willie Macc Escapes His Previous Status as Just the Funny-Man from BET College Hill Virgin Islands

Willie Macc goes from BET College Hill Virgin Islands' funny-man to a tipple threat to the entertainment industry as an actor, "model" and comedian. Role on new television series, becoming an animated character and doing stand-up made him a hard working entertainer this week.

Los Angeles, CA, August 30, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Willie Macc (www.myspace.com/kingonthemic) is quickly elevating his previous status as just the funny-man from BET College Hill Virgin Islands to that of a triple treat in the entertainment industry - actor, "model" and comedian. After a full day of shooting for the new NBC television series "Journeyman" on Monday, and a stop by the studios to have his likeness animated for a new MTV Animated Pilot on Tuesday, Willie Macc concludes his entertainment trifecta efforts with a stand-up comedy performance on Wednesday night, August 29, 2007.

Previously best know for his comedic character on season 4 of BET College Hill Virgin Islands, Willie Macc is quickly making a name for himself in all facets of the entertainment industry. As an actor, Willie Macc has landed several roles on the big screen, in a straight to DVD movie, as well as on TV. He will appear in a January 2008 feature film release staring Kevin Sorbo, Carmen Electra and Method Man, and begins filming a straight to DVD movie, "House Arrest", next month. In addition to previously appearing on CSI, and BET's Take the Cake, Willie Macc can be seen this fall on an episode of NBC's new television series, "Journeyman".

A consummate entertainer, he has added something new to his portfolio of work, becoming an animated character in a new MTV Animated Pilot.

Not straying too far from where he is most comfortable however, Willie Macc continues to hone his stand-up comedy skills performing in comedy clubs around Los Angeles and most recently at Harrah's Hotel and Casino in New Orleans. He's at it once again on Wednesday night, August 29th, at 7pm, as he highlights the "Jazz and Jokes" night at Good Hurt (located at 12249 Venice Blvd in Los Angeles), which will benefit the Kick'n It For Kids Foundation.

Willie Macc entertains his fans and friends 24 hours a day, with a collection of videos at http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=64023FFBB2C085F6.
