New Elesa Lever Indexing Plunger Introduces "Super" Technopolymer Construction

The new PMT.200 lever indexing plunger from Elesa UK features new “super” technopolymer with increased strength for the body, lever and lock nut, and is suitable for most applications where stainless steel might otherwise be specified.

Metheringham, United Kingdom, July 14, 2013 --(PR.com)-- The PMT.200 series lever indexing plungers from Elesa are suitable for most applications where stainless steel might otherwise be specified for its corrosion resistance, thus offering substantial cost savings.

The PMT.200 features Elesa’s new “Super” technopolymer with increased strength for the body, lever and lock nut, plus either black oxide or stainless steel pin to suit application. “Super” technopolymer has a very high mechanical strength compared to other plastics and in many instances is seen as an appropriate replacement to steel, especially in corrosive applications. This avoids the high cost of a stainless steel body assembly where the ultimate strength of stainless steel is not required. Sizes are M12 and M16 with body lengths of 17mm or 21mm.
