e-DBA Nominated for Three UKOUG Partner of the Year Awards

e-DBA is an Oracle Platinum Partner specialising in the provision of Oracle Software, Hardware and 24/7 managed services, has been nominated for three awards by the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG).

Chelmsford, United Kingdom, July 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- These nominations, which recognise the company’s success in the past year, are for Database Partner of the Year, Middleware Partner of the Year and Engineered Systems Partner of the Year.

The UKOUG provides Oracle users with the opportunity to influence the design, efficiency and technology that is vital to the Oracle community. The membership organisation was developed to give an independent voice to Oracle Stakeholders, an attribute that is highly valued by e-DBA.

These nominations follow e-DBA’s continued growth over the past year which involved the acquisition of SolStonePlus, now known as 3sixty-analytics. Together, the two companies have skills and expertise covering the whole of the Oracle Technology Stack, with e-DBA specialising in the provision and support of Oracle Technology, and, 3sixty-analytics focusing on Business Analytics consultancy and solutions.

e-DBA have also made an investment in Oracle Engineered Systems which led to the purchase of Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exalytics boxes to enable our customers to test drive these technologies. This will allow organisations that are thinking of buying Oracle Exadata X3-2 or Exalytics X2-4 to experience the benefits of the machine, before committing to purchase. This is ideal for those organisations that are hesitant to invest as they will be able to see exactly what advantages are available to them. e-DBA are also planning to use the units for demonstration and training purposes, which will enable them to educate organisations on how the units work.

Alex Louth, Managing Director of e-DBA, has said, “Over the last twelve months e-DBA has grown substantially, and with new offices in the UK and Australia we are now able to support a growing number of customers.” He added: “These nominations serve as a testament to the e-DBA team who all work very hard to ensure our customers are always at the forefront of the latest Oracle technology.”

Voting is now open on the UKOUG website and will close on the 13th September. The link to the voting page is http://pya.ukoug.org/index.php/323789?lang=en. The UKOUG Awards will be presented on 3rd October 2013 at Altitude 360, London.
