Youfit Health Clubs Now Opening Another Atlanta-Area Club; More Clubs Coming

One of America's fastest-growing chains of health/fitness clubs is opening its third club in Atlanta - and its 56th nationally.

Coconut Creek, FL, July 19, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Youfit Health Clubs is now opening its third club in the Atlanta area. And several more are on the way.

Rick Berks, president/founder of Youfit, has targeted Georgia for expansion – and he’s keeping his promise. Youfit opened its first Georgia club in Norcross four months ago – and it’s been a success since the moment it opened. In May, the company opened a new one in Kennesaw, with similar results. Now, Youfit’s opening a new club in Douglasville, at 9559 Highway 5 - the company’s 56th in America. And it will soon be followed by new clubs in Buford and Suwanee.

Rick Berks’ business model is very different than those of traditional health clubs. There are no long-term contracts (you pay by the month). No intimidating bodybuilders or gym rats (the clubs aren’t designed for them). No singles scenes. No pressure to join – there are no salespeople. No pushy instructors. And no carbon footprint. In fact, these may be the “greenest” gyms in America - the floors, for example, are made of recycled tires or Nike “grind” (recycled sneakers).

“We’re building clubs for people who don’t want to deal with the trauma and drama of the usual health club,” Berks says. “You wouldn’t believe how many people tell me they have to get in shape before they’ll feel comfortable walking into a club.”

The “Youfit” name is meant to convey a very strong message. These are clubs where “you” can “fit” in, without feeling uncomfortable and without feeling pressure from pushy salespeople. And the fees are probably the lowest you’ll ever see for a first-rate fitness club.

“We’re really excited about the Atlanta market,” Rick Berks says, “and about the welcome we’ve received here. We’re getting people in the Atlanta area off the couch. We’re creating new businesses here. And we’re creating them in a way that’s good to the environment.”

Berks is a successful entrepreneur with a colorful story – and he’s targeting Georgia. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to speak with Rick Berks - or the manager of the new Douglasville club - at (954) 575-4089, or steve@winstoncommunications.com.
