Call for Original Research Papers Within the Field of Cardiology

Nature Clinical Practice Cardiovascular Medicine is now accepting original research submissions of the following types: – Randomized, controlled trials – Systematic reviews/meta-analyses – Observational studies – Epidemiological studies – Translational studies

London, United Kingdom, August 31, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Driven by demand from the community of clinical cardiologists, from September 2007, Nature Clinical Practice Cardiovascular Medicine will accept clinical and translational original research. This development will allow the journal to provide not only timely and succinct analysis of recent advances, but also original research of the highest quality. The aim is to provide everything a busy cardiologist needs to keep up to date with advances in the field.

The editorial team invites readers to submit the following types of studies for consideration: randomized controlled trials, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, observational studies, epidemiological studies and translational research.

In line with the ethos of Nature Clinical Practice—translating the latest findings into clinical practice—accompanying ‘Clinical Context’ articles will be provided, when appropriate. These will act as a forum for leaders in the field to interpret what impact the new results will have on clinical practice in the context of recent literature.
