The Orange Planet Expands Educational Programs to Include Day School

Des Moines, IA, July 26, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Since 2008, The Orange Planet has rallied around their mission to provide services that inspire minds, strengthen bodies, and impact lives. Given that education is a top priority of life, the current growth of on-line learning, and the variety of approaches that students need to excel in life, The Orange Planet has partnered with Quakerdale to provide additional educational programming at The Orange Planet facilities. Quakerdale has a rich heritage of providing statewide youth and family services since 1851. In addition to serving Manning, Waterloo, Marshalltown, New Providence, they now add Pleasant Hill. Quakerdale has committed to a two year investment to launch their new school in partnership with owner David Charleston of The Orange Planet. Promise Academy Pleasant Hill serves 6-12th grade students at The Orange Planet facilities, which recently under went some new office build out space.

Promise Academy daily schedule is 7:45 am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday. Students spend their morning with a teacher and their peers engaged with on-line curriculum taking short exercise breaks. Afternoon Essential Life Learning courses are purposefully planned and taught by amazing individuals that have rich life experiences. Promise Academy Pleasant Hill is accepting up to 30 students for 2013-14 calendar year.
